Bari, Metropolitan City of Bari, Italy

Mirai Robotics is a Physical AI company building autonomous maritime systems and intelligence platforms for defense and commercial operations at sea.

The company develops software-defined autonomous surface vehicles and AI platforms that deliver dock-to-dock autonomy for persistent maritime operations: ISR, patrolling, infrastructure protection, inspection, and domain awareness. Mirai's systems integrate autonomous navigation, multi-sensor perception and fusion, AI-driven mission control, and real-time decision intelligence into a single mission-grade architecture, operating from supervised autonomy to fully uncrewed missions.

Mirai builds full-stack: hardware, autonomy software, perception, simulation, and edge AI treating maritime autonomy as a complete robotics and AI challenge, not a software overlay on legacy vessels. The company's technology spans reinforcement learning for navigation and docking, advanced perception pipelines for maritime environments, and synthetic data generation for sim-to-real validation.

Alongside its own platforms, Mirai provides modular autonomy solutions that integrate into third-party vessels, enabling shipyards and operators to deploy autonomous capabilities across existing fleets. Every system deployed feeds shared models and learning loops creating a network effect that strengthens the entire ecosystem with each mission.

Founded in Italy and rooted in Europe's world-class shipbuilding and defense industrial base, Mirai is building the autonomous maritime operating layer for European and allied operations.
