Working closely with the CEO, Board and investors, the CFO provides strategic financial leadership to drive growth, profitability and operational efficiency in a fast-growing maritime technology company. The CFO will oversee all finance functions, support business expansion initiatives and partner closely with senior leadership to enable sustainable long-term growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will combine strategic financial thinking with a hands-on approach to help scale the business and support the execution of maritime and infrastructure projects. By delivering actionable financial insights, managing capital and stakeholder relationships, and optimising resource allocation, the CFO plays a critical role in strengthening the company’s financial performance and enterprise value.
Responsibilities

Strategic Finance and Leadership

• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, capital allocation framework and growth plans.

• Translate operational and commercial activities into actionable financial insights and decision-making support.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with investors, Board members, banks, government agencies and strategic partners.

• Support investor reporting, Board materials and stakeholder communications.

Financial Operations, Planning & Reporting

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and financial reporting to support timely and data-driven decision making.

• Establish scalable finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks suitable for a high-growth environment.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Maintain strong governance frameworks, internal controls and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Capital Management, Fundraising & Grants

• Lead fundraising activities across equity, debt and grant financing initiatives.

• Develop financial models, investment materials, business cases and due diligence materials to support fundraising and growth initiatives.

• Manage banking relationships and capital planning for vessel and infrastructure projects.

• Drive and support applications for relevant grants and funding programmes where applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior finance leadership roles.

• Strong experience in fundraising, capital raising, financial modelling and strategic finance.

• Experience engaging with investors, Boards, financial institutions and external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Singapore’s business environment, grant ecosystems and funding programmes would be advantageous.

• Experience in maritime, infrastructure, energy, industrial, project-based or asset-intensive industries would be advantageous.

• Hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a lean and fast-paced environment.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels of the organisation.
