Job Description
As the People Operations Specialist, you will:
- Drive full-cycle recruitment processes for technical and non-technical roles, from job description development to offer negotiation
- Design and implement data-driven talent acquisition strategies to build robust candidate pipelines across multiple channels
- Develop and optimize employer branding initiatives to enhance our market presence and candidate attraction
- Create and execute comprehensive onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity and improve new hire retention
- Implement engagement strategies and retention programs based on employee feedback and industry best practices
- Analyze recruiting metrics and employee turnover data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team dynamics and identify ideal candidate profiles
- Maintain candidate relationships through consistent communication and engagement throughout the hiring process
- Spearhead diversity and inclusion initiatives within recruitment and retention strategies
- Stay current with industry compensation trends to ensure competitive offers and internal equity
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a tech startup environment - could be in any role
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for technical roles and building effective sourcing strategies
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems
- Knowledge of talent assessment methods and interview best practices
- Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders
- Data-driven approach to measuring recruiting effectiveness and retention metrics
- Experience developing employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and confidentiality
- Proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
