The client is an Australian family-run ecommerce brand specialising in beautiful handcrafted garden decor inspired by the Australian lifestyle, flora and fauna. They're a growing online business looking for a proactive, creative Content Marketing Manager to help elevate their brand presence, grow our online community, drive conversions and support the day-to-day running of the ecommerce business.
The Role
This is primarily a content marketing role with ecommerce support responsibilities.
You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, scheduling and managing content across our marketing channels while also assisting with customer service, website optimisation, and general ecommerce support.
This is a remote full-time role suited to someone highly organised, creative, self-motivated, and experienced in ecommerce content marketing.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Takes initiative and brings ideas to the table
- Is highly organised and reliable
- Has strong English copywriting skills
- Understands ecommerce marketing
- Can work independently without needing constant direction
- Loves creating engaging content and storytelling
What You'll Do
- Content Marketing
- Create engaging social media content for multiple platforms including Instagram, FB, Pinterest
- Schedule and publish content
- Create blog content
- Manage new product uploads including product descriptions, creating images and website copy
- Monitor social engagement and reply to comments/DMs
- Assist with customer service enquiries
- Track content performance and suggest improvements
- Research trends and content ideas
- SEO optimisation
- Create EDMs/email campaigns on Klaviyo, analyse performance, clean and manage customer lists, create customer segments
- Create and edit Reels and short-form video content
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars
What You Need
- Portfolio of social media work (examples of content created, campaigns managed, or videos produced).
- Strong English written communication and copywriting skills
- Previous ecommerce marketing experience
- Experience managing social media for a brand
- Experience creating Reels and short-form video content
- Ability to use, learn and adapt with AI
- Strong Canva or similar skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to problem solve
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Reliable device and high speed internet for remote work
- Experience with or ability to learn:
- Shopify
- Canva
- Klaviyo
- Meta Business Suite
- CapCut
- ChatGPT
- Social scheduling tools
